Hi I'm Francisco Torres, a Portuguese type designer. I like to design, develop and produce typefaces but I am also open to collaborate on graphic design and art direction projects.
I've been working closely with ExtraType and R-Typography in different custom and retail typefaces such as FCBarcelona, FCBarcelona Serif, Chamberí or the Narrow & Condensed forms of Gliko Modern.
My interest in type design started during my graduation at ESAD Matosinhos. In 2016, I moved both to Paris to attend TypeParis and then to Barcelona to get my master degree in Advanced Typography at EINA Barcelona.
I started working as a type designer at Extra Estudio & ExtraType at their Barcelona office in 2017. One year later, I decided to move back home and to work independently.
